What does your personal information include?

The type of information concerning to you and your employment history. Personal information includes personal details, work experience, qualification, education and other similar personal information collected by RNI in seeking to place you in appropriate employment. Sensitive information (criminal records or health conditions in most cases may only be collected and disclosed with your consent or if required by law).

How personal information is collected

~We collect most of our information from you directly such as:

~When you submit an application or fill out our forms;  

~During an interview;

~Each time we have contact with you;  

We may ask to collect particular personal information about you.

Your personal information may be collected from the results of medical, psychological testing and performance appraisals, records of workplace injuries or workplace accidents in which you are involved, certificates of educational qualifications and reports from insurance or criminal investigations.

Your personal information is used and disclosed

~Our clients and potential employers;  

~Management of any investigation in which you are involved;

~Assessment of medical, competency and psychological testing;

~A workers compensation body;

~Your referees, colleagues, employment or labour hire agencies;

~Any person with a lawful entitlement to collect the information.

Your authorisation allows us to disclose or use your information for any reasonable purpose related to your possible employment placement as contemplated by this Privacy Statement.

We have taken reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse or loss or unauthorised access at the end of the applicable period of time, the information will be destroyed in line with RNI policies and procedures.

If you do not provide us with your personal information we might be limited to find suitable employment for you.  The privacy Act sets out your rights to see and have a copy of personal and sensitive information about you that RNI Talent Solutions hold.
